I am starting my weight loss blog today. I really never thought I would get into this blog thing but it's better than writing in a journal with the exception someone might actually read it. Funny thing is my major is actually in networking and computers. I love my gadgets but only got into this blog as a requirement for one of my college courses.

I started Weight Watchers about a week ago for the umpteenth time. I was at 209, today I am at 202. I was down to 185 and it creeped back up on me. I will make my goal of 150 this time. I have even started step aerobics, which is something considering I have a heart condition and I am so very out of shape. I manage about 12 minutes before I get nauseated and see black spots. My cardiologist ensures me that this will go away. Today was my 4th time and it didn't feel as bad as the first. I have to take a diuretic that makes me sooo thirsty it's hard to work out and keep hydrated with out suffocating! But I will do it this time. I am even dragging my husband down with me. He can loose weight on his own when he takes a mind to it. He dropped 60lbs and has regained almost all of it. So last night I measured out portions for him. He's been complaining about gaining weight and I really thought he would complain about the lack of sour cream and salsa on his burrito but made no complaints not even a grimace crossed his face. Being southern I have a hard time cooking for two. I have a tendency to cook for an army which I picked up from my great grandmother who could feed an army on a minutes notice. But she fries everything which I do not as I don't like fried food and it likes me even less.

So if there is anyone out there that really wants a WW buddy feel free to respond. I am hoping to get in the habit of blogging everyday to keep me motivated.
